Hey Mappie.
I have emailed you tables over ship/equipment for reference in the future so I won't
give you the wrong data (Fuel Cap) again. Sorry mate.

Thanks.. i have looked in that table before, but it doesnt give me maxvalues and some values are just missing. (f.x current system). From post: 101930, Topic: tid=7218, author=SeeJay wrote:Hey Mappie.

Someone asked what "weapon" gauge was.. It states Weapon damage in the file but is a number from 0-100 where 100 is no damage i guess.

Not the file from the ModKit-folder.
The tables I mailed you are the max values for each item. Fuel, Wingsystem ...
-You can target weapon-system in combat, so that should be correct.
-The Nav damage must be when your radar starts to flash and rotate
uncontrolled.

Hi
I'm back! Had a great time at the SFX Weekender convention
Is there a 64 bit version of the downloadable? I'm using Windows 7 64 bit - could that be why the final letter is being clipped?

Right - I'll download the latest version and try it out again - I can use it with clipped final letters but it spoils the "feel" - more like a beaten up Lada than the sleek sporty job I'm actually in! :P:P

New Release version 1.4
Teaser.
Tonight i added a button called "Add Object" wich lets you add any object to the map at the position your ship is right now. (you need to have the tracker enabled)
These objects will reside in a locally placed SQLite database and will be handled as a part of the map until you delete it.
You will see in the table that its "your own" object by a special marker.
This makes it possible to build up your own map. The database could be shared with others by just copying it.
Plan are that any of these self created objects could be sent to SeeJay for adding it in the global database (if he is in the right mood that grumpy man) ;-)
Im still working on the layout but functionality is there.
We might opt for a mode where you dont see SeeJays stuff if you want to explore the world on your own without "cheating".
End of status report

GRUMPY!:(
Wait til you get online "Bro", LOL.
Sweet new features there. Not bad for a spoiled brat.
All files are now available on my evochron site in
the download section.
There is also an instruction (word) document for the Map-GPS System.
This will be updated along with the project process.

Your site looks great with that new Map.. I know it must have hurt to take that other one away (knowing the extreme hours you spent on that) .
Your data is still/and will always be, the GOLD in what we do.
/Mappie
PS! Vice. If you read this. Can we have a pinned thread about this software in here or in mods section?

New Release version 1.4
Hi
I've downloaded what I think is the most recent version of the stand-alone prog (it has 5 buttons). The clipping is still happening - could it be something to do with my PC?
Is there any significance to the fact that some of the blue (discovered?) systems are a slightly bigger blue blob?, e.g. the two between Pices and Olympus Prime
Final query! Where do the sector codes (UQ4 etc) come from?

Hi Dave.
The clipping only occurs in Widows system. We are investigating why.
They are bigger since there is several systems close to eachother. (Zoom in)
The codes UQ4 is for internal use and they will be removed.
(UQ4=Unknown System Quadrant 4 and KQ4=Known System Quadrant 4).
It's used to determine what color the system should be.

Vice has implemeted new stuff in savedata.txt. This opens up for great things in the map.
Currently i have just some small bugfixes to handle before you can fully
ADD ,DELETE ,UPDATE your own systems and objects in the map. SeeJays stuff will remain there but will be READ-ONLY

Project name changed to "EvoMetrics" instead of just "the map"
SeeJay. Can you change the name of the thread please.
you can now ADD/Delete/Edit your own systems/planes, moon, containers, stars, constructs etc co-existing with SeeJays database.
This is ofcourse for the offline installable version. Download on first page of this thread
