[EL] Saved game issues

I am trying to use my old pilot profiles from evochron legacy, but it is not detecting them I followed instructions in the other thread but no luck, I could be wrong and they are from Mercenary. If necessary I can email them if you can open them to see what game they are from.

What folder are you placing them (the old profile files) in and have you cleared the 'UpdateSE.cfg' file from the new 'Documents\EvochronLegacySE' folder before launching the SE version?

The update and conversion process will indeed only work with and are compatible with Evochron Legacy profiles.

I have them in documents/evochronlegacy and yes i deleted this file it said something about previous saves but it went away so fast I couldn't read it, and as of yet no luck.

Hey i just double checked and I am an idiot the saved games were for legends. sorry to waste your time.

Ah ok, I was going to reply back indicating they were invalid/corrupted as they would not work with the current save templates. Good to know they just didn't conform to the more recent formatting. If you have Legacy profiles from 2015 on, they will be compatible with the update and conversion process.
