Just wondering.

I had this happen to me today. As it was part of chat and totally unannounced to me (I never read chat), I was kinda surprised by it.



This is the first time I've seen this message.
"Alert: a docking fee of 1000 will apply when docking at this station."

And I have docked with that station many times.
Is it just random or is there a reason behind it? Like I did something wrong or something?

You are likely allied with the IND faction as independent. As a result, once you are wealthy enough, primary faction stations will start charging you docking fees.
