...build in Andromeda?

Several reasons. The main one is that no one lives there to populate the structures you'd build, so there's no one to operate or sustain them. It's an extremely distant location in the game's universe, hidden to normal channels/databases and only discoverable by players who find the hidden route. It's not part of the Evochron quadrant the faction conflict takes place in, it's way outside of the 'battlefield' of play. There are some other technical reasons as well. It's a place that one can visit, but not bring into the mix of the faction conflict nor find people there.

Seems like that would describe any area of uncharted space or even Riftspace, which can be built in. Oh well, just wanted to leave a sort of "Kuros was here" type thing. Not the end of the Evoverse though. Thanks Vice.

The main practical reason is that there is a Distance from Sapphire limit of around 22K sectors for using Build Constructors
