Good day.

When using non-widescreen monitor with 1280x1024 resolution some elements of interface, especially in NAVMAP mode, seem to be not scaled properly and thus appear to be shifted to the right side. Here are some screenshots:

Quadrant (small mode)

Quadrant (zoomed mode)

NAVMAP with dots of selectable targets, scanned by sensor station

- As you can see, for example, at two last screenshots, if I want to select by right-click a target scanned by sensor station - I need to click on an empty area to the right side of the object, not at the exact point.
- Buttons in NAVMAP are shifted to the right (or the frame of NAVMAP window is scaled too far to right?)
- In quadrant map, green rectangle appears not hovering the charted system, but is shifted to the right.

System properties:
- intel Core i5
- Windows Vista x64
- RAM: 8 GB
- Video adapter: ATI Radeon HD 4670, ATI Catalyst driver 13.9

A 4:3 ratio resolution would be something like 1280X960 (which is 0.75/1.3333 or a 4:3 ratio). 1280X1024 would be a 0.8/1.25 factor, or 5:4 ratio. Some of the recent changes for VR and various other systems likely impacted legacy compatibility with more square screen modes.

I can duplicate some of the offset click range behavior, but not the displaced buttons nor the menu frame leaving the edge of the screen yet. Are you using any custom field of view setting in the sw.cfg file? Or any custom image files?

I'll work on trying to offset the differences in that ratio and may contact you via e-mail so you can try a test build to see if it resolves the issue for you.

No, I didn't touch ".cfg" files and there are no customizations or mods installed. There is the case, when buttons aren't displaced.
If I simply press F1 to enter NAVMAP window, when no menus are opened, then buttons are displaced.
But if I press F2 (building) or F3 (inventory) when NAVMAP is already opened and then return to NAVMAP pressing F1 again, then buttons are displayed correctly.

I've recorded the video that explains cases when this bug appears

Thanks, I've sent you a link for the test build to see if it resolves the issues.
