It seems that I can not buy weapons no matter how hard I look. all of the stations have no weapons. I have room in my secondary weapons slot so I can buy and sell missiles Also would like a second primary weapon but no one sells them,, Did I do something wrong? I configured my ship for no secondary weapons at one point, Thinking maybe the game figures I don't want to buy any,, since have configured a slot for secondary weapons. Any ideas?

Are you using the scroll bar next to the items for sale list? Weapons will generally be last on the list and usually require panning through all of the available items in order to get to them at the bottom of the list. Without doing that, you'll be limiting yourself to only the first few items available at the top of the list, which are usually commodities (purple) and perhaps a few equipment items (yellow).
