Refugees drowning at sea!

Due to the crisis in Syria (and other places) a lot of refugees tries to save their
lives crossing the ocean with boats in very bad shape and overloaded.

Many people drown on their way to Greece.

The Swedish Sea Rescue Society, with the help of donations for this mission, send down
two Rescue Ships to help our Greek colleges in saving lives. The crews rotate every
10th day and are send down from Sweden. One Greek navigator is also on board.

Since this is completely voluntary work, help from others is needed to fund the operation.

Sounds like a great thing to do. $$ beat sympathy everytime. I went on the site but found it hard to work out what to do.

I don't use SMS and since 13% goes to the SMS provider I'd rather send a donation direct so it all gets there.

I don't know what swish, iban and swift are - sorry but we oldies can only keep up with mainstream tech developments I've hear of Bank Giro but don't know how to use it.

I suspect I'm not alone. Any advice or pointers to where to look would be gratefully received.
