Game recording software.

Post by CS-ACI- »

Hello,

I currently use FRAPS for screen shot capture and video recording. I have bought FRAPS some years ago and it does produce high quality captures, but the video files are huge. I have used some video converters, but it is time consuming when I would rather be playing and recording.

A 13 second video is 91MB.

Does anyone use similar software?

Quality of video, size of files vs time would be interesting.

Here is a free, open source, program I found today. https://obsproject.com/

Will try it tonight.

Would be good too see a review.

In FRAPS I have F12 set for screenshots and mouse button 3 for video on/off.

Makes it easy to use on the fly.
