Custom Stations?

I've been poking around in the customization kit, but I haven't been able to find any resource files or anything for stations. Is there any way to add custom stations into the game? In the case of the stations I don't really mind if there are just replacers.

Also is it possible to fly through a gas giants atmosphere? I haven't run across one yet. And does anyone have the resource files that added fauna and stuff to the worlds of EM? I'd like to get my hands on that one. The worlds are kinda sparse. :)

Oh boy, I'm actually already using your tiny tree's mod. You happen to know how to increase the occurance of tree's? And yeah, custom stations would be very nice. I wonder what complication is holding that back from being a moddable thing.

:cool: I imagine Cindy could do it. Somehow she figured out how to fly through a star so a gas giant shouldn't be any harder.

All the customising kit shows is how to change the look/size of trees so the number and location might be hard coded or generated when you enter the planets sector - When I get time I'll see if they stay in the same place between visits :) unless someone else is kind enough to check first :P My office is packed away for a few months and it's a major job to unpack and set up my stick! :o

The original mod was released in December 2010 by Leatherpoker and he last posted in April 2012. You might try U2Uing him :)

:cool: I'd assume that vegetation, like cities, remains in the same location (not counting the walking trees) every time you go planetside.

IIRC, there is a way to mod the stations. (model and textures only)
the method is similar to that used to add custom ships.
I dont remember the file names or wich folder to put them in.

ask vice for the info and if it still works in this version of the game.
