Really great news , the home world series has been remade in HD , it does look rather shiny if I say so . They even have most of the original team and sound guys working on it which I find absolutely amazing . its fantastic to see such an old game come back stronger than ever.

Turns out the release wasn't exact midnight , so i just lost some serious sleep but its preloaded I guess .

How does it play? Is it a carbon copy of the old ones? Are there any updates?

I played for a while last night. It looks really nice.

I don't remember the old plot line, so I can't say if it's exactly the same, but I think it is.
Some improvements have been made. Here is a great review:

I'm really going to enjoy this massive plot line. Might even give me some ideas for a

Outstanding. Maybe I'll have to pick it up on payday. I never played the second one...but absolutely loved the first.

You know, I kept seeing the title of this thread and ignoring it, because I thought it had to do with some world series (as in sports), and not the game Homeworld.

You've officially earned the name strange there

. As far as I can tell its the same everything , even when you fight between first and second game races in pvp or player vs cpu the fighters are still produced in different numbers depending on the race. (singles or inseperable 5 ship squads)
