Clan UE is a neutral organisation dedicated to exploring the unknown, in the true spirit of adventure. Our primary endeavour is to uncover hidden star systems, new trade routes, secret resources, and other uncharted anomalies. With both individual and team-based expeditions we are ever ready to set off into the distant reaches of deep space in the search for adventure and discovery.

- Always have polite and respectful conduct towards other pilots (even when blowing a hostile pilot to smithereens!)
- Abide by the rules of whichever MP server you are flying on.
- Respect the chain of command when engaged in team operations.
- Help and encourage new pilots.
- Promote the spirit of fun and adventure - at the end of the day it's just a game.

Clan Activities:
Team-based Operations
Flying together on co-ordinated expeditions. These may be pre-arranged or just spontaneous.- Use the Clan UE Missions Board to organise an operation in advance.
- Can be long-range expeditions into deep space.
- Can be short-range excursions for trading or system contracts.
- Can be military operations against the Vonari or hostile clans*.
- Choice of ship-frame and equipment load-out should reflect the mission objectives, and be appropriately balanced among expedition members.
- A command structure should be agreed upon before the mission, and subsequently adhered to for the duration of the mission. For a more detailed overview of a typical command structure and wing position during missions refer to this document (coming soon).
Solo Operations
Intrepid explorers who prefer to fly solo are also important in Clan UE activities. They are encouraged to share their adventures by posting their flight logs in the Clan UE thread.
Fighter Escort Wing:
There is a role within Clan UE for fighter pilots to provide escort during the more dangerous Clan operations. The Clan UE Fighter Escort Wing is a project currently on hold at this time. As soon as we get some new members who are interested in combat duties, then we will re-activate the Fighter Escort Wing. We also welcome collaboration with non-UE pilots who would like to offer their combat skills as a fighter escort.

These are Clan operations which are either still in progress or have yet to be launched. Any member is welcome to join or initiate whichever one interests them. Just follow the respective link to the Missions Board and post your request to participate.

The old thread was closed down as it had become obsolete, with virtually none of the original members still remaining. This new thread represents a fresh start from scratch. The Clan was pretty much on the point of extinction, but I think the concept of Universe Explorers is a great one, so I decided to revive and revamp it.
