General discussion (space-sim gaming, astronomy, and sci-fi entertainment in general, etc.).

Pan with the joystick axis?

Post by _-Caleb-_ »

The reason of this question is because im thinking in buy one EDTracker, an Arduino device (Is a 3-axis joystick emulator) like the TrackIR, but much cheaper and works without camera or leds.

Website: http://edtracker.org.uk/

Is possible?

Not currently as it would likely require a dedicated control input system designed for its axis signals, rather than the current 3D head tracking system designed for TrackIR. Either separate channel controls would need to be applied, or a separate head tracking system applied with a selectable device ID option.
