Newer Razer gamepads (Sabertooth??)

Post by PaulB »

Has anyone tried any of the Razer gamepads?

There are things about my Xbox 360 controller I hate.
(1) There are on settings - you can't adjust sticks/trigger sensitivity.
(2) There is no deadzone or adjustment (thankfully EM and the other games I play have deadzone adjustments in the game. Bu I have to set them rather high (setting 2 in EM) to avoid any drift. The fluctuations around center stick(s)/Trigger is awful. Just blow on them and you will get drift without that 2 deadzone setting.

I've read that on the Razer (the sabertooth has an oled display) you can adjust the sensitivity of each stick independently (maybe the trigger also not sure). And you can set up several profiles internally).
But (for me) it's quite expensive to just buy and hope it's a fantastic gamepad. I'm already kinda down on Razer for their deceptive advertizing saying the 6 additional Buttons are "fully programmable". They are not (from a review). You can remap them to ANY of the other Buttons but they are NOT additional Buttons that you can map in a game.

Is anyone using it and have any feedback?
