Could you list the Unique ID's for those that do not have a destination and I'll look into them. They might be correct as they are but I need to check them.

The ID 651 points to the same system as the gate is in. No need for the map to have a destination since the line won't be visible anyway (To short).
The gate lines will only show when you are zoomed out so that both start and end locations are shown on the map.
So the icons for both "Uncharted Station" and "Uncharted Gate" had bugs being displayed? I wonder why it's just the "Uncharted items. Does "Uncharted Planet" also have problems being correctly displayed? I guess you could maybe add "Uncharted - does not appear in Nav Map" in the Notes/Comments section for such items if you have to change them all to their normal types ("Station", "Gate", "Planet").

Here are the Unique IDs for Gates, Uncharted Gates, Wormholes, and Black Holes that have no destination (prior to the deletion of Unique ID 365):

I think that knowing the gate destinations would be useful, even if the drawn line would not be visible.

Results of the check:

33 - Destination within the same system. No need for a Destination in that field.

365 - Deleted!
650 - Destination within the same system. No need for a Destination in that field.

No problem! Accurate information is usually a good thing.

If those same system gates are two-way, I think knowing which gates they link to would be useful.


Looking at the data again, I see there are gaps in the Unique IDs, presumably from previous deletions. I didn't notice them before, so I'll have to be careful with them.

Those gates are one-way.

Yes, I have corrected data before and there are gaps. Has no effect for the DB tho. I just keep adding new stuff to the end of it.

The icons for Uncharted Planets works just fine. I guess it's just the "pointer" on the other 2 that is wrong because I created icons for all items.
Uncharted Planets has a red gloria while the Charted ones have a yellow.

A friend of mine created the EvoMetrics so I don't have access to the code for the downloadable version.
I haven't bothered yet to go through the code for the online version due to lack of time. (He created that code as well).

All those glitches will be fixed when/if the 2nd generation of it is released.

There are no lines on the map for gates with destinations in the same system. Could be fixed by creating "Dummy" objects and link to their Unique ID.
I don't have time to look into that right now but I will if I get some time for it. (Will probably be a Gate icon with the name "Destination" or something).

The DB is now updated and all gates have a destination.
I did a reacon mission tonight and verified the suspicious gates. They tried to fool me but I
handled them as I normally would. Obey or die! LOL!

Lines are drawn on the map now even if gate - dest is in the same system as long as both are within the
zoom level.

New files available to download now. (20140113)

If any more wicked stuff is found, feel free to report them as well.

Little things about the map:

In AGATE:

The asteroid cave with the gate to rogue lair don't exist in this version of EM. (Or not in this coords)

Yes it does. It's on the map where it's supposed to be. Checked it last night!
Ask Iron man. He witnessed when I face planted myself on the rock and died! :D

Some coordinates might be a bit off due to Planets increase in size but in general, it's
pretty accurate. It takes way to much time to go through all items in the DB since
I would have to visit each and every one of them. That's not gonna happen!

I tried not to spoil anything by using the DB id's
only and not give any info regarding them.

Knowing that some gates are only one-way ... that's a bit of a spoiler right there. It was for me, anyway, the first time I went through one.
