The rumors are true

I built my own cockpit for mercenary and other sims.
I'm useing ch products controls with my own custom hardware and software.

this is stage 1 (now complete)
stage 2 is a full motion platform with multi displays

"serious samurize" freeware with my custom config file
regenerates cockpit displays onto a second monitor output

yes, in game cockpit is turned off.
I have a custom hud with displays removed,
all warning messages removed and linked to tri color led warning lamps in cockpit

Nice work. I would love to see a video of it in action.

Perhaps you can also put it on rockers and have someone stand behind you and shake the cockpit and tilt it around for you. :-)

motion cueing software and servo output hardware is complete.
just waiting to save enough cash to build the platform.

it can be used on other games already.
I use it in MS FSX also
the only limitation is interface software between the game and hardware.
MS FSX has all the software you need avail on net.
but I had to write my own for mercenary.
