Can't switch to true fullscreen mode

Hi, Just got this but I cant seem to switch to the locked fullsceen option. The FS options are red in the menu. Does that mean they cannot be selected? I have the full version after trying the demo. I thought it was just locked for the demo version but it still appears to be locked out. The resolution selection options are red as well apart from "optimized"

They are red due to it not being a recommended screen mode, but you can still select it as a legacy/compatibility option, then exit the game and restart it to apply the change.

thanks for the clarification. I was trying to get the 3d vision mode to activate which only works with true full screen. it didn't work with any of the options until I turned on AA to 2x from off and then it worked with the locked FS option. Not sure with what anti-aliasing had to do with it but it worked if anyone else runs into that issue.
