Alone on the battlefield?

Hello! I haven't been playing a lot since the release of Evochron SE. After the year-break I installed the latest version and completed several military contracts in war zones. I was unpleasantly surprised: am I the only combat pilot during missions? Where are all those AI controlled ships? Of course, they were nearly useless in Evochron Legacy 1.0, but at least I didn't feel myself like the whole Evochron Quadrant spins around me.

They should be there if you are aligned with the nearest controlling faction. It will depend on which war zone you may be in and what your faction affiliation is.

A-ha! Thank you, Vice! I was playing as IND so no wonder nobody supported me.

As you may already know, you can optionally switch an existing affiliation in the pilot selection menu (click on the 'Modify' button).
