Combat SimDashboard Screen (control by tablet) - now updated all 4 screens - AGAIN

Here is the Combat screen I have added - making 5 screens I made in total (2 are just the galactic map with different formatting) - pressing buttons on your android tablet control Evochron Legacy like a simpit.

My Teclast T20 died suddenly one day.

So I finally scrummaged enough shekels together to replace it with a Samsung Tab A 10.1 32gb wife (their cheapest model).

On paper it seems expensive for what you get relatively speaking but comes with a 24 month warranty and far smoother operation, amazing sound and is much lighter.

Ok I have done it. In simdashboard app just add community pages and search for Evochron (works for Arvoch Alliance as well)

The preview pics below are very compressed and don't look anywhere near as good as they do on either my phone or tablet.

I don't know. I tried a few months ago to work it out and it wasn't known at that time.

I'm in Australia and I am pretty sure we get it much later than the US for some reason.

So when the last season was shown in the US and everyone was raving about it I couldn't even watch it.

I really liked the detective Miller and the early episodes and the rail guns.

I found the zombies (as I see them) dead boring and a bit stupid if I am to be blunt.

The last series was not much chop either.

I basically don't watch TV shows and I ignored it initially. Once I finally watched an episode I was hooked and watched altogether 13 episodes in 2 days (Sunday and Monday - I worked on Monday as well), it was awesome. I have watched the first season 4 times :)

Update Notice.

I have updated to 100% custom buttons for the second screen using Vice's provided files.

I will update the picture above when the simdashboard is approved (usually within 24 hours).

I will on the weekend be updating the first screen as well :)

I finished the first screen just now :)

What you don't see above is how vibrant Vice's graphics look on a nice tablet - really compressed dull images in the previews above don't match reality.

The second one was approved so updated pic above.

I recommend to put them in the order I have them - add 4 pages to a single simdashboard.

You can tap (left side and right side) and swipe on the top (left and right) to navigate the pages.

Tip - from Ship controls you can tap top left once to get to combat (vice-versa)

Update notice.

Screen 1 - now approved

Screen 2 - fixed reload (order) button - have uploaded for approval again.

Screen 4 - fixed left shield booster - have uploaded for approval again. (i use an arcade stick instead of this screen so missed the error).

You will need to configure some keys - use the simdashboard screens while defining key binds

Note: 1 to 6 on keyboard (not numpad) are for the orders.

Numpad keys used for shield boosters.

Maximum Power to Weapons or shields uses brackets [ and ]

Screen 3 - added Target Option buttons - have uploaded for approval again. Should be within 24 hours.

Note:
- you will need to redefine Target Nearest as SHIFT - Numpad 1 and Target Next as SHIFT Numpad 0
- this is because Numpad buttons are being used for shield boosting on the combat screen

Sorry I just reuploaded screen 2 due to errors.

Now works with Numpad 0 and 1 as per default keyboard layout for targeting options as those keys were in fact not being used.

Upgrade Notice - Screen 4 (combat)

Will take 24 hours to be approved.

I have added 6 buttons on the bottom left so you no longer have to navigate to Screen 1 in the small breaks in combat.

They are:
IDS - Up, Toggle, Down and Match
Radar and List Targets

wow super looking forward to the modpack working with EL SE!!

it works by way of downloading an app on your android tablet called simdashboard from the google play store. there is also an app for your windows pc.

on the android tablet you login to your account (you need to pay a few dollars to purchase "button box" only) and enter search to download one at a time (one per screen).

it was made primarily for racing car games (not by me) but I use it for space and flight games.

so it could not be added to your evo mod pack.

Also the second screen was previously updated quite some time ago to include Tracking objects but I had not put in the updated image.

Here it is (again does not look as good as it really does):
