Evochron Legacy SE Customizing Kit...
Here is the link to the revised customizing kit for the 'SE' version of Evochron Legacy. The new page format provides quick links to customization options by category. It will likely be updated and changed over time as new options may be added.

Boy, that's a ship-load of possible mods. The only texture mod not included (as far as I can tell) is for the comet.

Cool. Does that include the ice rock inside the comet? I was wondering since, if so, it might be possible to superimpose Mark Twain's image over the rock ... he was born in the year of Halley's Comet and died in the year the comet returned.

The core structure itself is bound to asteroid materials of the same type in the region.

Does that mean, if I superimposed Mark Twain's mug over the comet core, it would also show up on asteroids?

Re: Evochron Legacy SE Customizing Kit...
The downloadable sample files for the customizing kit have been updated with a revised engine and thruster placement utility program. This has been ported from the original DirectX version to run in OpenGL/Vulkan with the new parameters for the 'SE' version of the game. Sample files are bundled with the utility and will load by default until replacement files are put in place within the '\media' folder. There are a few minor differences in how the new program works versus the original and those are explained in the instructions at the link the first post.

Yes, worked that request in as part of the development of the 'SE' version. It's a rare, but permanent entity in the game's universe. A pending changelog is available here for more details on that and other additions/changes: https://www.starwraith.com/evochronlega ... vulkan.htm

Re: Evochron Legacy SE Customizing Kit...
I'm a bit confused right now - I have done lots of modding before with EL so I'm confident my folder and file names are correct yet my mods don't seem to be working at all with the current version. It just acts as if the mod files aren't there despite showing up when I run the cockpit viewer. I imagine I'm missing something simple that has changed along the way. Suggestions?

Some mods (like graphic changes to the HUD/map) go here: C:\sw3dg\EvochronLegacySE\media\hud.

Re: Evochron Legacy SE Customizing Kit...
No problem. I still haven't managed to move all my mods to the "new" location.
