Latest nVidia Driver

It's been awhile since I've updated the graphics driver for my laptop (Windows 7 OS). What's the best driver to use right now ... one without any glitches to it?

As far as I know, at least in terms of SW3DG games, the latest 391.35 for your 460M should be reliable and perform well:

In my "optional updates" I have the following listing: NVIDIA - Display - 12/29/2016 12:00:00 AM - 21.21.13.7654

Would that be the same or should I download 391.35 directly from the nVidia (or Microsoft?) website?


P.S. Current driver is 372.54

The 391 driver is much newer. You could try that and roll back if you encounter any problems. Otherwise, unless there is a need to update (problem/bug or a specific game that needs a newer driver), staying with the 372.54 should be fine also.
