Evochron Legacy Replacement Fonts



Instructions

1. Create a folder called "hud" in your games install root directory.
2. Click this link and download a font you like.
3. Make sure the .png file is called "bitmapfont32" rename if needed!
4. Paste into hud folder.
5. Done!

   Don't like those? Want to make your own?
   1. Download the Evochron Legacy Custom Kit by clicking on this here text.
   2. Find "EvochronBitmapFontCreator.exe" inside the "hud" folder of the kit.
   3. Run "EvochronBitmapFontCreator.exe" follow the instructions by typing the font name, size, offset values (Recommend: Size 24-30, Offset 12)
   4. Install procedure is the same as the top of this post (hud folder inside your games install location) as the tool will generate the .png file of the font for you.

You can use any font you want as long as the font is installed on your system.

Unsure of the font name?
For Windows users fonts are located at "C:\\Windows\\Fonts" just double click a font to see what its actually called and type that name into the "EvochronBitmapFontCreator.exe"

I'm not sure what you mean, I uploaded the example fonts using Google Drive public folder where I store everything for every other game I made things outside of steam workshop projects I have uploaded, to download an example font just click one of the png files and there is an downward pointing arrow that you click to save it.

The bottom of the OP there is a direct url to download the modding kit for the game which has the required creation tool to make your own fonts.

I can't guarantee the offset will work for all resolutions and screen sizes sorry and yes I noticed one offset does not suit every single font. I did upload a font based on DOCK11 (a font I found on some free font download site as I am also a graphics artist so I use many fonts not shipped with an OS) this particular looks bad on purpose as some standard numbers and symbols are replaced with an alien like language.

Any chance for a screenshot of what this looks like in game?

(You will probably notice I am running modified Nebula images and a modified target hud these are a WIP from an overhual project I am working on
