I've been having screen freezing and total locks since installing expansion. I tried game booster, CCleaner, setting game mode on my antivirus, lowering visual settings, resetting modem, still experiencing these problems every few seconds to the point where its unplayable.
my specs:
Intel core I7 2.00 GHz
Windows 7 64bit home premium
12gb system memory
video card: GeForce GTX 560M version 306.97
Total available graphics memory: 4852 MB
Dedicated video memory: 3072 MB GDDR5
70.3 GB HD space
Bitdefender antivirus

[EM 2.088] Constant screen freezing and lock ups *FIXED*
Your description sounds like either a heat issue or driver issue. The behavior due to now playing the expansion is likely just a coincidence. Some quick searches around the net indicate the 560M seems to freeze most often due to temperatures, but there are some driver related issues as well. I'd suggest the following:
1 - Check for heat issues on your system, especially the GPU (SpeedFan is a good tool to check temperatures). Clean out the system completely, particularly CPU/GPU heatsink(s). Use a can of compressed air to clean with.
2 - Try both rolling back your display driver to an older version, then test. Then update to the latest (if the one you're using is not already the latest).
3 - Stop as many background startup/running tasks as feasible, then test again. If the problem goes away, gradually turn them on again one at a time to determine which one was causing the problem.
4 - Uninstall Bitdefender entirely, use something else for protection as desired, then launch and test the game.

Yep think it was the heat issue Vice, used a can of air, cleaned up the build up and I think Bitdefender was causing some issues as well because when I switched to AVG antivirus, it mentioned during the scan that even when I unistalled Bitdefender, it was listed as a threat during the AVG scan. Running smooth so far, thank you.
