There are only those screenshots in Evochron Legend, which confirm that the landing was a bug with the game (I guess what). In Evochron Mercenary bug patched and now landing on the Earth is a legend.

R1 says that it has been confirmed by Vice that you CAN land on earth. But it is a boring planet.

I do not think that Vice is going to confirm or deny that it is possible to land on Earth in Mercenary, and I do not think I wan't to know as I want to try as I did in Legends.....

Dear MasterChu. Vice will not confirm nor deny that landing on Earth is possible.
As one who is close to the "Master", I can assure you it is possible.
However, I do not know how nor want to since I am lousy at keeping secrets.
Unfortunately, you will not get better confirmation than that 'till someone does it.
