Evochron Mercenary shield red

Hi On evochron Mercenary I can't seem to stop shield flasing red on the screen, i've try repairing the ship even putting full power to the shields and upgrading the shipyard but it still comes up flashing red any idea whats wrong?

Hello PowerPlay, you need at least a class 1 shield booster to have shields.

I know you've heard this before, but trite as it sounds, MP is the place to go to get tips, tactics and a better understanding of what is the best loadout for your style of combat, if that is what you want to do.
There are so many options and combinations of equipment that it becomes a matter of personal preference and what you want to do in the game.
You can experiment on your own or gain input from players on MP who may have tried some of the equipment you are not sure of.
Lot's of players can offer advice, but it's best for you to hear it from players who actually use different equipment, crew, weapons etc. Each combination is best suited for an individuals style. MP is the best and quickest place to learn
Try it once. If you don't like it, you can always go back to SP wondering what you missed!

Thank you Avenger, installed a shield booster and that did the trick, tried MP and liked it other players are helpful
