Forum Rules...

Post by Vice »

By registering and/or using this forum, you agree to the following rules and conditions:

- You agree to accept all liability and responsibility for any post you make or message you send on or through the forum. StarWraith 3D Games LLC and forum administrators/moderators are not liable for any damages arising from the use or misuse of this forum or any of the website's associated with this forum.

- Do not post obscene, offensive, or harmful content. This includes, but is not limited to, sexual content, pornography, vulgarity, illegal activities, extreme violence, or malicious programs. Do not post links to such content. Be kind to others. Do not insult anyone or their work. This includes name calling, belittling, or making insulting objective assertions using subjective criteria. Do not harass, use foul language (this includes acronyms and alternate spellings), or threaten anyone. Don't ruin this service for other people, it exists to discuss gaming (which is supposed to be fun). If you either take gaming so seriously that you just can't let others enjoy their experience or just want to badmouth something or someone, don't post.

- Do not solicit for registration keys or illegal copies of games. Piracy (software theft) of any kind is not allowed on this forum. If you use an invalid key, cracked copy, or some other form of illegal copy of a SW3DG game, you can be banned and your posts/account deleted. Posting about cracking/reverse engineering games (including media and binary files), hacking, or cheating is not allowed on this forum.

- This is a discussion forum, not a classified ad center or auction site. Selling is not allowed, soliciting for products or services is not allowed. Opening posts with off-site links in them from new accounts will likely not be approved. Such posts will likely be removed and the poster banned. Some exceptions may be made for the general discussion board, but the poster will need prior approval from a moderator before the post is made. Contact a moderator via the forum's messaging system for prior approval.

- Do not spam or attempt to spam/advertise on this forum (this includes trying to advertise or spam with posts, weblinks in a profile, using automated registrations, or registering with free/anonymous e-mail addresses for the purpose of advertising/spamming, etc).

- Do not post multiple threads on the same topic. Posting multiple threads with the same information or questions puts unnecessary clutter on the forum and makes it more difficult for visitors to find the information they want or need. Many topics have already been discussed, so search the forum before posting about something that has likely already been posted about earlier. Do not post multiple times in the same thread repeatedly in succession as that also puts unnecessary clutter on the forum. If you want to add to a recent post that lacks replies, use the edit option.

- Do not change the main subject of a thread (often referred to as 'thread hijacking'), especially in attempts to provoke arguments ('flame baiting'). Posts that do not relate to the main topic of a thread may be removed. Do not 'bump' outdated or very old threads to the top of a forum list by posting replies in them (often referred to as 'necroing a thread'). Do not 'bump' threads to the top of a forum list just to try and gain further attention to them. Such 'bumping' actions drive other (potentially more current/active) threads down. To reduce outdated and redundant content, forum threads may be automatically or manually locked based on activity and/or age.

- Do not post off-topic information or media. If it isn't space/sci-fi/gaming related, it probably doesn't belong here. Do not post about personal problems or personal grievances on the public forum. If you have an issue with another player, avoid them or take it up with them in private. Such personal 'drama' content will not be allowed on the forum. This is a gaming forum, discussions should be focused on gaming, not personal issues. This rule applies to 'rage quitting' as well, this forum is not for proclaiming departures or discussing them, regardless of motives or emotions. Any comments you want to make on your way out to particular people must be done in private. Anything else will be a rule violation and will be treated as such. If you are not sure if a post you want to make is off-topic, you can request prior approval from a moderator via messaging.

- You agree this is a 'public' forum and as such, anything you post, enter, send, or reveal using the forum may be viewed publicly. Do not post, enter, send, or reveal anything on or through the forum that you do not want to be viewed publicly.

- You hereby authorize all forum administrators/moderators to monitor your activities on the forum. This includes reviewing anything you post or send through the forum and includes tracking your IP information to review your activities and/or block your access to the forum if needed as determined by an administrator or moderator.

- You are allowed one and only one forum account. Creating multiple accounts can result in all of your accounts being disabled. Inactive forum accounts may be removed after any length of time as determined by administrators/moderators.

- Do not post your order/registration details. The forum is not an order/registration support service. Order and registration support often requires personal information that may not be appropriate for the public forum (such as your name, e-mail address you used to place your order, registration key, etc). Please direct any questions regarding your order or registration directly via e-mail. Do not post your personal information or the personal information of anyone else (ie full names, addresses, phone numbers, passwords, etc) without express permission from the individual.

- In order to abide by the US COPPA law, you will not post or use any part of the forum if you are 12 years old or younger until we have received written approval from your parents.

- Violators of any of these rules may have their post(s) edited or deleted and/or be banned/blocked from the forum. If you're not sure whether your account or post will violate one of the rules or not, do not create an account or post. Your posts must be legible, understandable, productive, constructive, and beneficial to the community. If a moderator feels your post/account doesn't add anything to or for the community, your account may not be approved and/or your post(s) removed.

- We reserve the right to determine what is or is not in violation of any of these rules and may modify, lock, or delete posts/threads and/or ban users at any time. Warnings may not be given. If a warning is provided, it is a courtesy and moderators are not under any obligation to warn a forum user before they are banned or have their post(s) edited/removed. These forum rules are the warning.

- Account approval is required before your post(s) will be visible on the forum. It may take anywhere from a few minutes to a few days for the approval process to be completed. Violating the forum rules before your account is even authorized will likely delay the process or prevent your account from being approved. Read these rules carefully before you attempt to create an account. The forum's messaging system is reserved for users with a minimum number of posts.

- Moderator decisions are generally final, including thread merges, deletions, locks, edits, and account moderation. Moderators have been given the authority to handle the forum and enforce the rules as they see fit. Do not post questions or comments about moderator decisions/actions on the forum.

- If you do not agree to these rules, do not register/create an account or use this forum.
