All I have for you today my friends...
Is an image.
I hope you enjoy it.
And I hope I never see it again.
You see I found these AI ships in single player.
And well they were acting odd.
As in they were there like as you see in the picture.
But they were like nudging each other to dock but not actually any of them was going forward to dock.
Just all sitting there. It was the weirdest thing I have seen in a while.
They kinda stacked up while I was hunting birds.
Planets are madness.

This is nothing. You should see the roads and highways of Reno now that Tesla and Panasonic are building their mega-plants.
P.S. I think Vice is working on a fix.

Re: Planets are madness.
Some 'traffic jams' and/or wait/delay behavior can be part of the potential collision/docking mechanisms within the AI pathway framework. But since it backed up that much and appeared to get stuck (likely due to specific build conditions and pathway routes at whatever that location is), I am working on changes in flight path behavior to help reduce/eliminate it. The location of the scenario above was not reported for me to analyze and test, so changes will be more global in efforts to reduce it, then can be checked out in various locations in aggregate during the testing phase of pre-release builds.

Not sure where it was to be honnest.Vice wrote:The location of the scenario above was not reported for me to analyze and test, so changes will be more global in efforts to reduce it, then can be checked out in various locations in aggregate during the testing phase of pre-release builds.
It was probably on a planet in the agate system as at that time it was where I was spending some time moon mining.
The conditions that led to this was me trying twice to do the "animal specimen" mission on the planet.
And they just kinda stacked up like that when I got back. That really is all I can give ya.

Was it around 15:00 local time? It looks like the parent pick-up line at my son's school.
