Cellinsky has kindly provided some amazing ships to add to the game. They include custom cockpits (complete with HUD and even cockpit glass reflections) and ship designs. They look fantastic and each has a unique appearance and 'feel'. Be sure to look around and check out the cockpit interiors as he modelled them very completely. Here are a few screenshots and the download link is at the bottom:

These are awesome! Thanks for the artwork!

I wonder if something like this could be done with Renegades. I think the new shipyard is awesome, but I would like to see different cockpit art for each ship. I wonder if you could have it so that each frame had its own cockpit art and hud, so that although the ships still look the same as they do now on the outside, each one would have a different look and feel from the inside.

You unzip the file and copy the folders into your install directory. Your Arvoch Conflict documentation should provide some details about how the mods work. So, on my system, for example, it looks like this...

C:\\...\\Arvoch Conflict\\ships
C:\\...\\Arvoch Conflict\\hud15

etc.

Then, in game, you scroll down through the list of ships in the Configure Ships and Weapons screen, and you should see the new ships.

Vice, the second cockpit from the top... what is that? I tried all the cockpits twice and I can't find that one!

Thanks. For some reason I had no hu15... I might have it deleted accidentally.

I'm using only cockpits, I prefer the original design, so similar to atmosphere-flight fighters. And that cockpit is exactly of the same shape as the pilot cabin on the outside in all the models.

Who knows if he's willing to make those versions for Legends as well. Those cockpits are beautiful.

I tried just dropping them into legensds by renaming them, and it crashes anytime the model comes into view.... Is there something different about these .x files, or maybe are there some textures that AC has that are used here?

They are made specifically for Arvoch Conflict game so they are not compatible with Legends. They might be available for Legends soon thou. ;)

Soooo....can I make ships in Maya, put them in the game with the customization kit? If not, how would I go about creating custom ships, and getting them in game?

Hi rahk, welcome to the forum, I have no idea what Maya is, actualy I do but it is probably not the kind of Maya you are relatively talking about and I do not have Arvoch conflict game, so I won't be much of a help other then welcoming you....:P

Maya is a 3d modeling / animation software package. Its like 3dsmax or XSI. Thanks for the warm welcome. I just wondering how I can get custom ships into the game because I have a bunch of ships I have modeled. If someone can tell me what the steps are or what file format the model must in .....that would help me a lot. once again..thanks for the welcome Maarschalk

Is there not a read me help file with instructions in the customization kit for Arvoch Conflict ?
I know there is for the Evochron Legends Customizing kit..;) maybe this is helpfull anyway's....:P

The file format you need to use is DirectX (X ASCII), although some 3DS formats may also work. The customizing kit provides the filenames and folder names you need to use to import your own designs, along with the specifications for the ship(s) in a text file.

A bit of a grave dig here, but indeed, could these cockpits be used for Mercenary? And is there anyone who still has some screenshots of them? I would more than be interested.
