Is it possible to attach some sort of aversion number to the Download file it self, so one can quickly check if they have the most current version on their PC?
(for some its a hefty download, especially if one has the current file in advance but is un-sure of it and has to DL it again to be sure...)

I can attach the version number to the installer, but it doesn't seem to provide the version number without having to run the installer (which might defeat the purpose depending on what your goal is). Currently, you can check the version number in a couple of ways:
- Launch the installed game, note the version number at the bottom right of the screen in the main menu.
- Note the date of the installer they have, if it's the same or later than the date posted for a version announcement here: http://starwraith3dgames.home.att.net/arvoch/about.htm , then they've likely got the latest version.
