I could see the Logo's for New School and Elite Fusion but what about SW? and what does it stand for?

Actually, fulcrum drives never failed on me. However, I wanted them to fail at least a couple times, when I triggered the fulcrum drive by accident, inside a space station, facing one of the walls.

That is, not counting the dozens of times I misplaced the target point for a inter-sector jump, and triggered the jump with the wrong heading, only to materialize inside a planet...

I wouldn't mind having a device included with the FD that warns me when a jump will make me hit a (known) planet or moon or asteroid or star or other object.

Since some of you boys are so creative, how about letting the players enter their own news flashes on a BBS? Give it an appropiate time delay before it is automatically deleted.

Perhaps as a customized mod perhaps, but not as a publically available system (which invites many spam problems). You should see how much I have to block just from the forum, imagine what kind of exploit would be available to spammers looking for a free way to advertise something in a game. It would soon be filled with a bunch of .com ads.
