I need an item list

I'm new to the game, and the game doesn't tell you what does what. All I see is an expensive item with an interesting name and the devs assume I know what it does and how it works and what it's rarity is. I know a lot of other games have wiki parts that show what stuff does what which is a lot more help than "Join a server, hope to hell you find someone who can help you, if you can't play online well...... Good luck out there!" *playerragequits*

Here is an example of a wiki from Freelancer, another space game where you do about the same stuff you do in this game, just with a lot more ship choices from what I've seen so far and more of a variety of things to do. But it has it's own version of space physics rather than fuel and newtonian and whatnot, and is old and kinda dead.

Example; http://discoverygc.com/wiki/

I joined some random server today to see that it's empty, and found some items in the station I didn't know how to use or what did. I assumed they were good to have because they are super expensive.... But I don't know what they do, that's why I'm requesting someone either build a Wiki for the game, and help describe what items do what, hide the locations of items in spoiler bubbles and such. Examples of items in a wiki;
http://discoverygc.com/wiki/C-48_%22Cerberus%22_Battleship_Turret
http://discoverygc.com/wiki/Capital_Ship_Armor_Upgrade_Mk_VIII

Does anyone know if there is already a wiki somewhere? Or a list of the items available in the game with descriptions and effects? If not, will someone make a wiki for this game?

I think there is a wiki but i cannot help you more than that, you (and i) will have to wait for someone better qualified for this.
As for the empty server, depending the hour and the server amigo, i hope to see you out there, in mp lots of your questions will be answered from fellow pilots.

The sticky in this forum section 'New to Everchron?' has a link to a link that gives detailed info on the individual items as well, along with a lot of other useful info.

Hi Vas - welcome to the game

From SeeJay's site at http://evochron.junholt.se/menus/downloads.htm you can get a 170 page Hints&Tips Guide that has loads of collected wisdom in it. For fun there is also a 64 page Technical Manual that explains the science and technology behind all the equipment you play with.

There is a lot of background and "colour" in the 275 page collected short stories created by players - go to this thread: http://www.starwraith.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=9505 for the download link

:)
