Hello new Evochron Mercenary player!
First off, welcome to the EM community, we're happy to have you!
Like many others before you, you have decided to buy what we think is one of the best space-sims out there - Evochron Mercenary, or try out the
demo.
When you start the game and enter space for the first time, you will find yourself in a most beautiful, but huge environment. The 'EvoVerse', as we
sometimes refer to it, is vast, the possibilities endless and the technologies intriguing. At first, some things might seem a bit overwhelming to you,
and you will more than likely run into situations of which you're not sure how to deal with. Don't worry, each and every one of us has been where you
are now.
The answers to your questions can be found on these forums, which hold a wealth of information on all kinds of topics. There are also a couple of
community driven off-site places where you can find a lot of incredibly helpful information. Of course you can make a post and ask other players for
help with your question, but there is a good chance someone else has already experienced the same problem once before and already made a post about
it. It may be hard for you to find the correct post though, or find the information you are looking for on one of the community made sites.
This is where this post may prove useful. We have collected what we feel are the most useful topics and informative (off-site) content for new
players, and put together the index you see below.
The links in the index below refer to different topics, Youtube video's, community-driven offsite content, (video) tutorials, community made mods, and
more useful content. Simply click on the link to be taken to the relevant topic or offsite item.
Please note that the below information pertains to Evochron Mercenary only, not to any of the other SW3D Games.

If you find another post on the forum which you think should be included in the list below, please post the link in a reply to this thread and I
will review it.
I will update this post when new useful topics arise. You can keep track of the updates by viewing the Update log.
This post will remain open so I can edit its contents when need be, and people can post new links. You are welcome to leave comments, suggestions and
feedback regarding this thread itself in a reply.
However, I will ask not to post any actual game related questions in this thread if you find your particular question not answered by any of the
information below. Instead, please post your question in a relevant thread on the forum, or create a new thread in the appropriate section.

I can't see the tutorial listed there, SeeJay. The link you posted just points to the general tutorial index on your site, in which there is no such
tutorial as of yet.
Has Mecingo made the same post on these forums? I have done a search but couldn't find anything related, so I can't add anything to the index yet.

Yes, the link is there in one of the boxes under Videos the last one in the list called: Combat-Capital Ship: How to destroy a capital ship!....

I certainly hope so.
Most of the work is done now though, it's just a matter of maintaining it and keeping it up to date. If the posts grows beyond reasonable sizes (which
it is about to do) I will consider another format to retain legibility. Possibly a spoiler bbcode-like idea, if we had that.

Or you could add a Table of Contents at the top, with links to each chapter.
Like Vice does with his on-line Readme files.

That would be a good idea, but I don't know what the HTML code is for making the page scroll down a specific number of lines when you click on one of
those links. I'll look it up though. Since HTML can be used on this forum, it might be the best way to go.

This is probably how you would do it: (On a webpage at least)
The Link: *a href="#1"**Chapter X*/a** (* = < and ** = >)
Destination: *A name="1"** */a**Chapter X (* = < and ** = >)
Had to use the * and ** to avoid creating a link LOL!
