An Open Letter to Galaxian
Lately, the Evochron universe has become a more dangerous place for honest citizens to go about their business. In response, I've decided to play the
part of an FDR and offer a solution much like the one found on Earth (prior to its global government surrounding the entire planet with an
impenetrable defensive shield), when the civilized world came together to form the United Nations (UN). I propose we form a similar organization
called the United Planets (UP).
The rules and regulations governing the UP would be the purview of its charter members, with one delegate chosen by each participating guild or
clan.
To enforce these rules, the UP would require a peacekeeping cadre of combat-hardened pilots; their prime directive would be to provide some measure of
safety within the galaxy. They would, in effect, operate in a fashion similar to GDF. Therefore, I'm requesting that your organization, the GDF,
become the peacekeeping arm of UP.

Thank you for your interest in GDF and considering our organization for this important role.
Your proposal has been reviewed and carefully considered by GDF command.
Although GDF was founded and currently operates as an independent contractor, our purpose and mission goals have always been and continue to be
directed toward providing security to the citizens of Evochron. To continue to do so under the direction of UP seems a logical step forward.
Thus, the decision has been made that effective the official formation of the UP, GDF will step away from the private security sector and assume the
role of UP peacekeepers.
