- Option to use joystick HAT for shield array energy augment control added.
- Several minor bug fixes.

Version 1.888 is available for download. This update includes the following:

- If the game is interrupted during a file extraction and/or loading process by external interference or system problems causing file corruption/damage, it can now automatically attempt to clean and repair the damage next time it is launched.
- Weapon impact effects for AI ships updated to behave like impacts effects on the player.
- Sensor stations now display ship locations on the nav map correctly.
- HUD indicators updated to better support stereoscopic 3D.
- Several minor bug fixes.

The mission editor has also been updated for a few minor bug fixes.

- Texture quality increased significantly on most systems for higher detail.

- Registration system updated.

Note: Have your reference ID and key handy when installing and launching this build. This update will prompt you to re-enter your reference ID and key the first time it launches to update the registration status on your computer for the new system.

- Timed escort missions now complete as successful even if player lands in hangar prior to 'mission complete' notification.
- Support for key/button flight control input for roll, pitch, and yaw while using joystick flight control mode added.
- Updates to mission system auto-saving to track player progress for multiple simultaneous events.
- AI traffic patterns and directive system updated for utilization of all station hangar entrances.
- Timer system update to fix the incorrect framerate condition a few players encountered.

Arvoch Alliance has launched! You can download the free 4 mission demo in the downloads section. Also available are the stand alone mission editor, the voice chat test program, and the customizing kit. Time to find out just how good of a space combat pilot you are!

If things stay on track, the game will likely be released by next Friday, the 18th. The website has been updated with more information about the game and the official promotional video is also now available in the media section.
